Recruiting Coordinator

Kimbel Mechanical is looking to hire a Recruiting Coordinator. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the talent acquisition process.  This includes building relationships with candidates, as well as educators within the markets Kimbel Mechanical does work.  The Recruiting Coordinator is typically the first interaction a candidate will have with the organization. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for interviewing and screening candidates, placing candidates with the right hiring managers, engaging with students about future opportunities, and ultimately becoming a talent advisor to the hiring team, as well as continually improving the process and procedures within his/her scope of work.

Essential duties and job functions:

  • Continually generate candidates for open positions via sourcing, head hunting, networking, referrals, etc.

  • Build relationships with schools throughout associated markets
  • Speak in front of classrooms, schools, panels, etc.
  • Generate market research to better develop recruiting strategies
  • Complete Recruiting Activity Reports to submit to supervisor
  • Routinely take part in Talent Acquisition training and development
  • Continually improve the process and procedures of Talent Acquisition
  • Communicate with Hiring Managers on a regular basis
  • Manage job postings and job applications for every open job requisition
  • Network and build relationships within every applicable market
  • Participate in Career Fairs ranging from K-12th Grade, Technical Schools, Colleges, Adult Job Fairs

This position currently does not have any supervisory roles.


Expected Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8:00AM-500PM

It is important to note that this position requires extreme flexibility and to expect a 45-50-hour work week.  This position often requires the individual to work from home or adjust work day hours to accommodate a flexible interview schedule, occasionally travel on a Saturday or Sunday to return or arrive from a market on Friday or Monday, as well as accommodate field employee’s lunch schedules.  It is often the only time this person is able to properly conduct an interview with a candidate.


This position is very travel intensive.  Should expect 50-75% travel.  It is critical to have an on-going recruiting presence in every applicable market. Majority of travel is conducted throughout the week, although, some may fall on a weekend to return from or depart to a market.  Company truck equipped with fuel card is provided for this position.


Work Environment:

This job operates in a hybrid work environment.  The position requires travel, work outside of the office, and work within the office.
