IMPORTANT UPDATE:
City of Springdale’s Proposed Residential Design Plan and SIDING BAN
A Message from your Executive Officer, Shana Kasparek:
As you may know, the City of Springdale is proposing a ban of certain building materials, including vinyl, wood, and aluminum siding. This got the HBA’s attention and we met with the Springdale Planning Commission on September 13th to educate them on the negative impact these bans will have on local builders, suppliers, and home buyers.
I will get right to the point…. We only had input from one builder for that work session. The City of Springdale is not going to help us and make changes to their proposal unless we get more feedback!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!! THE FUTURE OF BUILDING IN SPRINGDALE IS GOING TO BE JEOPARDIZED IF WE DO NOT GET MORE SUPPORT FROM THE Home Builders Association and local builders.

- Please forward Springdale’s Proposed plan to other builders, even if they are not HBA members!!
- Please read through the proposal and submit your feedback and suggestions to me by October 15th.
- Most importantly: Show up to the next work session to provide your support and input on October 25th.
